Shadis,
Probably the same reason every military video has Godsmack, Disturbed or Drowning Pool set to it People want adrenaline-pumping, heart-pounding, get-up-and-go music to make stuff seem cool I guess.

I like to listen to music while I am running people, helps keep me focused. But for normal mission play I like to listen to the normal soundtrack.

Usually the GW soundtrack. I especially like the Factions soundtrack, but the Prophecies one is good as well. Nightfall does a bit underperform in the music.
Or I turn GW's sound off and put on some selected music from my digital audio collection.

I probably would listen to the game music if it worked for me but it isn't so i'm listening to my heavier music haha pretty much anything ranging from Korn to Slipknot to Wednesday 13 to Trivium, anything like those sorta bands suits me and I have 5000 songs to choose from.... lol
By the way i've tried everything to fix my games music like buying new soundcards, made every possible combination out of my sound settings but the music wont run for guild wars but..... my music runs from any other application whether it be playing fable or listening to my music from winamp so nayone got osme advice on how i can get it working again?

I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs
I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there
over my shoulder a piano falls
crashing to the ground
I'm breaking through I'm bending spoons
I'm keeping flowers in full bloom
I'm looking for answers from the great beyond
